Consulting engagements
A consulting engagement begins only when Smoliki Consulting and the client accept a written proposal, statement of work, or services agreement. That document controls the scope, deliverables, timing, fees, payment terms, confidentiality, and any limits of liability for the engagement.
Information and outcomes
Our materials are strategic and operational guidance, not legal, tax, accounting, investment, or other regulated professional advice. Results depend on the client’s information, decisions, resources, and implementation. The client remains responsible for its systems, personnel, approvals, and compliance obligations.
Intellectual property and confidentiality
Each party keeps ownership of its pre-existing materials. Unless a signed agreement states otherwise, Smoliki retains its underlying methods, templates, and know-how, while the client receives the agreed right to use project deliverables for its internal business. Confidential information must be protected and used only for the agreed purpose.
